Responsibilities
To conduct Dynamic and Static deployment tests of Seat belt and Airbag products.
To prepare and modify test parts and fixtures.
To analyze test samples, log post-test reports, and present results to engineers and customers as needed.
Must have good mechanical ability, be familiar with the use of hand tools and assembly equipment and be able to read and understand test specifications developed for each product type.
Must be able to quickly become familiar with the use of various computer applications.
Education
- 2-year Associates or Specialized Technical Degree or 5+ yrs equivalent related experience.
Experience
5+ years minimum experience required.
Must have good mechanical ability and be familiar with the use of hand tools and testing equipment.
Must be able to read and comprehend test specifications.
Must be able to quickly become familiar with the use of various computer applications.
Must have good communication skills with other technicians, engineers, and supervision.
Must have the ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize to ensure test completion dates are met.
