Role Objective:

The Sales Representative I position is responsible for to provide support of the existing Stellantis customer business across the three business units (Seat Belts, Airbags and Steering Wheels).The position is in Washington, Michigan.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain prototype order tracker with PO status.

  • Work as liaison between ZF Sales, Engineering and Program Management to coordinate on-time customer delivery.

  • Work as liaison between Customer and ZF Sales, Engineering and Program Management to communicate issues with prototype purchase orders.

  • Work with account manager to establish prototype & production pricing.

  • Provide pricing for Customer RFQ requests.

  • Approve, track & ensure goods receipt closure for prototype shipments.

  • Record & track quarterly raw material inflation via customer PO’s & market trends.

  • Process customer POs in the ZF CORA system.

  • Work with Finance and Accounts Receivable (A/R) departments to resolve invoice/payment issues.

  • Support Account Managers with Claim Recovery.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or related discipline.

Experience and Skill Set:

  • Requires 2yearsof progressive experience with previous sales experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of customer communications systems and methods, experience with SAP and/or related ERP system preferred.

  • Experience in working in a global, cross-functional organizational structure.​Proactive cooperation to work with a wide variety of functions/individuals within and across the organization at all levels; internally and externally.

  • Ability to juggle competing demands and adapt to different situations. Must be able to perform under stressful conditions and meet immediate or short-lead time deadlines.

  • Be able to work in a high dynamic organization and to work under pressure. Team player as part of a global sales team.

  • Strong in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).

  • Winning mentality and persuasion skills as well as a high level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Energetic, responsive team player who is keen to take initiatives.

  • Proactive, organized, and accuracy with attention to detail including record keeping.

  • Professional communications skills both verbally and in writing with mandatory fluency in English required.

  • Local travel required on an as needed basis.
