About the Team:
We are looking for a Distribution Process Engineer at our Hebron, KY location. The Distribution Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the distribution process. The primary duties include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production. The Distribution Engineer works under the Operations and Engineering Manager. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative

Support the Outbound Packing and Warehousing
Projects to reduce quality risks and PPM
Analysis of picking and packing processes to understand opportunities for improvement
Supporting SAP or ERP system enhancements with remote developers
Ensures measurable Continuous Improvement savings
Drives and supports the technical change management process by implementing and advising on "future state" solutions
Uses lean principles to streamline processes and achieve cost savings goals set forward for the site
Working with key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive business and technical requirements and translate into projects.
Re-engineering processes to eliminate waste and drive resource efficiency.
Establishes data governance to ensure proper management of key master data that drives business performance.
Identify gaps between processes and system requirements and relay those to operational team
Guide on best practices both for systems and process
Support and manage projects to further engineering process/systems goals
Ensure existing systems are working efficiently and effectively; assisting users with how to use the systems when needed
Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. May be informal team leader
As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and determines the process by which to meet goals
Frequently interacts with peers and customers to exchange or present complex or technical information
Your profile as Distribution Process Engineer
Bachelor's degree in engineering/science or an IT related field or related work experience
Minimum of 2 years distribution experience, preferred
Subject matter expert in SAP ECC environment.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in teams
Ability to lead teams. foster team engagements and coordinate team member efforts
Able to manage several projects at one time
Must be a motivated, self-starter
Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools; or controls; reach with hands and arms; ascend stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear taste or smell. The associate must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of the job, the associate is exposed to an office atmosphere with and manufacturing/lab.
