About the Team: The After Market Project Management team at ZF AHL supports a diverse product portfolio, including ADAS, Braking, Autonomous Drive, E-Mobility, Clutches, Steering and Wheel End for Commercial Vehicles. The project manager candidate for this role will specifically manage the projects for CSW (Clutch, Steering and Wheel End) business line from start to finish. The After Market Project management team is collaborative and hands-on with the manufacturing processes, working closely with other departments including Category/Product Management, Engineering, Finance, S&P, Production, as well as other team members within Project Management. A key to success for this role, besides being an effective communicator, is being flexible to regular shifting priorities yet ensuring that the team is moving together in the same direction towards targets.

What you can look forward to as a Project Manager:

• Manage the overall launch project, ensuring the successful launch of all product variants with the customer and achieving all scope, timing, budget, and quality targets.

• Analyze and resolve risks/problems throughout the project.

• Set up, track, and ensure the technical project plan is compliant with the GDPEP process.

• Manage and ensure product maturity within the development regarding fulfillment of customer specifications, ZF and customer quality requirements, safety regulations, and legal requirements.

• Own the business case and take budget responsibility for all project expenses, ensuring cross-functional alignment to reach financial contribution targets and managing the risks to secure the project targets.

• Identify, track, and manage any scope changes to assess the impact on the QCT baseline to capitalize on those changes.

• Responsible for project performance monitoring and risk management.

• Coordinate validation/prototype activities within testing centers. Coordinate and execute system, interface, and design FMEAs/PFMEAs.

• Act as main customer liaison and balance internal and external interests, act as key point of contact for all IC suppliers.

• Ensure team resources, set annual targets to functional project team members, and provide performance feedback and development needs.

Your profile as a Project Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or Business Management (master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum of 6+ years of automotive business-related experience with a minimum of 4 years of project management experience, including experience dealing with large Commercial Vehicle OEMs; New Automotive, IAM and Fleets Customers.

• Background in North America commercial vehicle industry is highly preferred

• Automotive aftermarket experience is highly preferred

• Professional in Project/Program Management standards and methods (PMP certification preferred).

• Extensive experience with engineering systems, change management, and product development.

• Experience in business implementation as well as production, plant and customer launches.

• Knowledge of project finance, business case leadership, and strategy understanding.

• Demonstrated social and interpersonal competencies (verbal and written communication, relationships, conflict management).
