Job Description

We are reinforcing our team in the area of Steering at the location Shirley, Solihull.

Your tasks as Principle Software Engineer – Embedded Cyber Security (f/m):

  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer with the focus on Requirements and Design to join a highly motivated software team developing software solutions for electrically powered steering systems

  • Analyse the received stakeholder requirements for correctness and testability and develop high quality requirements specifications using a UML approach

  • Support the architectural design of the software including behavior and interface definition and participate in design FMEA activities

  • Develop test cases for components and Embedded C Software to meet all relevant safety standards including ISO26262

  • Validate the Software components against the requirements to ensure full coverage and quality

Your profile as Principle Software Engineer – Embedded Cyber Security (f/m):

  • Successfully completed Degree in Electronics Engineering/Software Engineering or a related discipline

  • You will be an experienced Engineer having worked with requirements management tools such as DOORS/PTC Integrity and AUTOSAR

  • You will hold proven software design experience using Rhapsody and ideally a UML based approach

  • You will hold experience in Embedded C software as well as unit testing- and static analysis tools

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including the capability of working within multi-site teams as well as fluent English language skills are mandatory
