Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague in the Digital Innovation team at our location in Solihull.

Your tasks as Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Development and Design:

  • Actively participate in innovation cases and design and implement the infrastructure and technical environments

  • Provide infrastructure input to the solution design of connected products and services

  • Collaborate with IT line organisation and drive transition of solutions to them during minimum scalable product (MSP) phase and team up with other infrastructure specialists to develop design patterns

  • Ensure a sustainable incorporation of infrastructure skills and knowledge within ZF

  • Develop understanding of upcoming technologies and engage in national/international infrastructure communities

Your profile as Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Development and Design:

  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics or equivalent qualification

  • Fundamental knowledge of infrastructure and database technologies and processes

  • Experience in building and administering Linux and Windows systems and application servers

  • Experience in working with server virtualisation, IaaS and PaaS cloud

  • Self-motivated and open personality with interpersonal skills and outstanding ability to communicate
