Job Description

We are reinforcing our team in the area of Steering at the location Shirley, Solihull.

The post holder can be based at our Development Center in either Shirley or Cirencester.

Your tasks as (Senior) Software Developer (f/m):

  • The Software Engineering Department is responsible for the development and release of Software for high profile and challenging global steering applications with global vehicle manufacturers. You will support the development and maintenance of the automated build, test and release activities

  • Work on the implementation of solutions to automation frameworks such as Jenkins and Gradle, including working on the automation of Software and advancing processes

  • Develop and work on Software for core and applications products globally

  • Produce metrics to increase the visibility of the Software’s quality to management

  • Provide test frameworks for Software tests to augment visibility of the Software development. Your work will include working on spreadsheets

Your profile as (Senior) Software Developer (f/m):

  • Successfully completed degree in Software or a relevant similar discipline

  • Experience in programming in Java (SE 7 or later) and testing using Junit is mandatory, partially gained in an Embedded or Electronics environment

  • You will be a proficient user of either Jenkins or Gradle and Software development tools such as Eclipse

  • You will hold experience in continuous integration methods and tools and ideally understand Software Engineering methods as well as plugins for Java based Software

  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written) are mandatory
