General Summary: Technology transfer from prototype to serial production. Expansion and optimization of production capacity. Creation of an industrial environment AME project management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Project planning and procurement of new production processes and production equipment (taking into account existing standards).
Technical contact between equipment suppliers, production staff and external suppliers of tools and components. Monitor the design and construction of production systems for solving problems in terms of technology, processes, plants and production to ensure compliance with delivery deadlines.
Identification of necessary equipment, tools and measuring systems within the scope and requirements of the Investment Application (IA).
Responsible for the preparation of complete concepts for production systems, focusing on capacity utilization, creation of process standards and best-in-class technologies and processes.
Support development engineering and product design in their tasks related to DFA / DFM. Support to the creation of FMEAs for product design (D-FMEA), processes (P-FMEA) and machine (M-FMEA).
Monitor projects for development and implementation of integrated manufacturing systems. Monitor and enforce project budgets.
Development of plant specifications, evaluation of quotes, and definition of requirements for the procurement of necessary equipment and tools for the implementation of new products, processes and / or efficiency improvements.
Create manufacturing systems and machine concepts. Cooperation with the AME team and production team to assess these concepts with regard to compliance with the requirements and implementation. Assure use of global standards in the inflator AME process.
Provide technical support for production processes and technologies, product validation and capacity planning for facilities.
Provide technical support and coordination of activities for the installation, troubleshooting and configuration of equipment and tools in an integrated manufacturing system.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
MS Office skills including MS Project
In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Engineering and Project Management;
Extensive experience with engineering change systems, project planning and process optimization
Requires 4-6+ years (progressive) in project management or related field, with preferred experience in the following;
Basic business knowledge
Automotive industry requirements
CAD (2D and 3D)
