Functional Safety Engineer – ADAS (m/f)
Division A - GEE – Engineering – Electronics
We are looking for a new colleague in the ADAS department at our location in Koblenz.
Your tasks as Functional Safety Engineer - ADAS (m/f):
Define the safety roadmap for ADAS functions such as AEB, ACC, LKA, AES or TJA in alignment with all system component stakeholders (such as electronics, mechanics & software)
Support in the derivation of safety goals and safety requirements for customer-driven as well as SEooC (Safety Element out of Context) projects
Conduct safety analyses at concept, system, software and hardware level and provide safety process documentation (i.e. safety plan, safety analyses reports)
Assist the System Architect in evaluating design choices for safety and support developers with functional safety concept implementation
International collaboration with colleagues, customers and suppliers for safety aspects
Your profile as Functional Safety Engineer - ADAS (m/f) :
Engineering degree in automotive, electrical, mechatronics, computer science or comparable qualification
Experience and knowledge in functional safety in the automotive environment according to ISO26262
Knowledge of methods for safety analyses (FMEA, ETA, FTA etc.) and HARA
Driver's license and willingness to travel
Very good language skills in English, German is appreciated
