Maintenance Engineer (full-time, one position)

ZF Transmissions Gray Court seeks in Gray Court, SC to perform complex/technical analysis and industrial engineering design pertaining to machine functionality and TPM. Select/implement facility equipment and troubleshoot machining and assembly equipment problems related to manufacturing bottlenecks and/or process/systemic issues. Develop continuous improvement initiatives with regards to improvement, changeover, servicing equipment in support of Overall Equipment Efficiency, and day-to-day production objectives. Analyze and plan equipment utilization, spare parts requirements, and workflow/design layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confer with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Determine product specifications for purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, or parts, according to specifications and quality standards. Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs on old and new productions to provide information for management decisions. Help determine and develop areas of improvement. Estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential, and help ensure quality of product produced meets all customer requirements. Must have Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering or related field, plus three years maintenance engineering experience. One of the three years must include experience with SAP and Axalant. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel may be required, to be reimbursed by employer.
