Crash - Sensing Aplication Engineer

Job Description


• Simulate crash sensing algorithms and generate algorithm calibrations for specific vehicle platform using customer provided crash data set (with ZF developed simulation and internal calibration software);

• Support full cycle of algorithm calibration process including validation and release;

• Design and develop vehicle crash sensing algorithms with use of Matlab, Simulink or/and Stateflow;

• Perform analysis, hardware in the loop test verification and validation;

• Present, discuss and negotiate with customers the sensing performance of algorithms and calibrations.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Master Degree in Electronics, Control, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar (highly preferred);

• Education in the field of Systems, Dynamics and Controls (preferred);

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently, and as a part of the team;

• Solid written and verbal English communication skills;

• Basic experience with Matlab, Simulink, MS Office;

• C or C++ (preferred, but not necessary);
