Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague in the HR department at our location in Amsterdam.

Your tasks as HR Business Partner - Compensation & Benefits (m/f/d):

  • This role will provide professional HR guidance, act as the HR compensation and benefit lead for the Netherlands as well as provide analysis, and administration in employee relations, training, recruiting, benefits, onboarding, etc. for the Amsterdam facility

  • Work with local leadership in the management of employee relations and local labor/employment law as well as partner with HR management to review, harmonize, develop and implement various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations

  • Serve as internal consultant to management and employees on a variety of human resources policies and procedures, recommending appropriate decisions or courses of action, and documenting decisions for consistent application

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data in order to formulate ideas for the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement; participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems

  • Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, health and safety concerns, and civil rights complaints; support training and orientation efforts as needed for the site


Your profile as HR Business Partner - Compensation & Benefits (m/f/d):

  • Successfully completed degree in HR, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, or related field

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of HR (i.e. working as a HR Specialist, HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, etc.) and experience with compensation - developing and reviewing compensation levels as well as experience with recruiting personnel at all levels of the business

  • Experience and/or deep knowledge of employment law and related government regulations/compliance, experience with Dutch employment law would be beneficial

  • Experience with an HRIS system and maintenance of related data and employee records as well as proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment, good verbal and written communication skills as well as good English language competency (written and oral)
